In today’s game I find that many athletes want to get to a place of greatness without having to sacrifice any part of who they are to get it. Athletes don’t want to change habits, don’t want to swallow their pride and apologize to another teammate for the betterment of the team, don’t want to work on their game outside of practice and don’t want to be told what to do.

If you’re a coach, I know that you’ve seen this in your players. Sometimes getting them to understand the journey that they are on can help.
